Nicole Horn- If I were Dan I think I would just put fresh in the jam jar right away and put some mud and water in it like they did with the carton.Because it would be easier than worrying about a carton in a river only staying in its place because of a brick. I still don't get why they put him in the carton in the river why couldn't they just put him in the carton, take him to Dan's house and go to the river every day to clean the carton
Layla Riazati- I agree with you Nicole, but maybe they were just too exited to think of that,or just not as smart as us. If I were Dan I would be in a not so good situation because I would have told Laurie that fresh should stay in his natural enviorment, but that would be hard because Laurie was goning all "pleese" on him so I am not completley sure what I would do
Adam Meyer-I agree with you Niclole and I was thinking the same thing when I read it. I think they should have left Fresh alone because who cares if you don't have 1 sea creature because it is just ONE creature,plus if they looked hard enough,they would find another one. bye!
Nicole, You should not put too much mud in the jar because he could sink and DIE;but he is a sea creature so there is a 50-50 percent chance he would live.
If I was Dan I would have bring him inside. Seriously, someone could have gotten Fresh and taken him. Or, an animal could have moved the brick and ate Fresh. I agree so much with Nicole, it's scary.
I don't agree with you because Fresh can not die in mud. Remember, Dan let him down into the mud.Fresh burried himself under the mud really far down. I don't even think it is a 50-50 chance. I think it is like a 99.999 chance he wouln't die and a 0.11111 he would die.

quite frankly on an opiniony scale of my opinion would have looked at this logically to decide what to do with that logically rare mussel i would look at it in a way that as if i were the mussel itself to if i would want to be set free but still a humanoid friend would ravish me so i would keep the mussel
