Layla Riazati- I am reading, If You're Reading This it's Too Late, the sequel to, The Name of This Book is Secret.In my book there are two main characters, Cass, a survivalist, who keeps her backpack with her at all times-but nothing bad seems to happen where she lives, Cass has large pointy ears, and Max-Earnest a boy driven by logic who has two names because his parents couldn't agree. His parents are divorced but live in the same house one side decorated completley diffrent from the other side, one side his moms and one side his dad's. They discover The Symphony of smells, a box filled with smelly vials of colorful ingredients, they accidentaly find a mystery about a said to be dead magicians diary. Evil people are after that box and diary containing immortality, the evil Mrs. Mauvious and Dr. L who own a spa called the midnight sun, in the spa only celeberties are allowed-Cass has to dress up as one-, the spa makes people younger, but oddly they all wear gloves. I am reading the boy in the striped pajamas. It's one my favorites of all time! My mom said it gets really depressing. so far it isn't. When most kids look at the title they think of it as a comedy (including me). its perfect for me. Not to hard, not to easy. This is a VVVVEEEERRRRYYY good book!!!
I am reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It starts when Harry, Ron, and Hermione say they are not returning to Hogwarts. They is going to finish the journey Dumbledore left for Harry. Before they start their journey, Harry, Ron, and Hermione run into Death Eaters (followers of You-Know-Who). They fight them in a dark cafe. Then Harry has a fight with one of his friends, Professor Lupin. That is where I ended. I wonder if they with make up. -Maddie Blunier
I am reading the book Artemis Fowl. In my story, Artemis captured a fairy and is ceeping her for hostage. He captured Holly when she was planting a acorn seed to regain her magic. Artemis and Butler shot her with a needle to capture her. If the fairys want Holly back, they will have to pay 1 cubic ton of gold. The fairys give him the gold,but the fairys have a plan. They will trap Artemis in a time-stop and they will drop a bio-bomb on his house.But,Artemis knows how to escape it. If his plan succeeds, Artemis would be the first person ever in history to do so. My connections with the book are text to text because this book is like Harry Potter because there is fairys, magic, violince, etc. I love this book because it is mysteriouse and fanticy at the same time. This book is perfect for me. -Adam Meyer
I am reading the book No Dogs Allowed and in No Dogs Allowed Kristine's [a very nice girl] families horse dies and she did not want another pet. But on her birthday she gets a little puppy from her papa.[Interupting her birthday party her mom goes to the hospital and has a baby!] The puppy was hiding in the bushes one day then all of a sudden Kristine was calling out random names and she called out Matt the name of a guy she hates at her school, then the puppy jumps out of the bushes! But the puppy is a girl so she names the puppy Mattie but calls her Matt. Then the kid Matt came over to Kristine's house one day because he wanted to see her new pupppy because his family was getting a puppy and Kristine said that she would give the puppy to him but her papa would get mad so no! I wish she would just love the dog and move on about the horse. I think it is just silly to not want a dog because of a horse that you can't bring back. But this book is really good and I reccomend that you read it! -Nicole Horn
Kayla- I just finished an amazing book by Lauren Myracle called Eleven. It started out at her birthday when she turned eleven. She had all of her friends over and they made their own pizzas(This part took place inside of the main charater,Winnie's house).
Now I am starting Twelve by Lauren Myracle(the secong book in the series). I haven't really started but I read the back and it said that "Eleven was big but now she is twelve!!Now she has to grow up and start taking care of herself and develop. Twelve is going to be a big year for winnie."
I predict that Winnie is going to have a hard time being twelve and that she needs to start to take care of herself!!
